Welcome to Camping de Regenboog in the Czech Republic
Camping de Regenboog is located in the beautiful North Czech Republic. The campsite is located by the village of Šluknov, 5 kilometers from the border with Germany. All camping pitches are very spacious, so that everyone has the peace and space to enjoy their holiday. In the summer there is a recreation program for young and old: from children’s stories, convivial campfires and football tournaments to barbecues, and meetings on Sunday. The recreation team is available for the whole summer vacation at our family campsite in the Czech Republic!

Playground
There are two playgrounds at the campground. The first playground is at the beginning of the campground here there is a slide, swing, trampoline, a seesaw, a tumbling frame, sandbox and a climbing and scrambling course. The second playground is a water playground. Here they can play with water and sand.
Snackbar
Have a nice cold drink on the terrace during a hot summer day, or get a delicious family bag of fries from our snack bar upon arrival. This summer this is all possible! We will be selling Dutch snacks, fries, ice creams and cool drinks at our snack bar.
Swimming
7 kilometers from the campsite is a wonderful outdoor swimming pool. But also next to Camping de Regenboog is a lake where you can sail but also swim. Note the water is natural water, this means that the water is not always clean. Not everyone wants to swim in this water, in addition, the lake is not ours and is therefore not regularly maintained by us.
Animation
In summer there is a recreational program for young and old: from children's stories, cozy campfire evenings and soccer tournaments to barbecues and get-togethers on Sundays. The recreation team is even ready for you throughout the summer vacations at our Dutch family campground in the Czech Republic!
Restaurants
Fancy a taste of Czech culture? You can walk to a typical Czech restaurant or walk into a local pub. With your bike you can also easily reach the border town of Rozany, where there are several restaurants with good price/quality food. You can sometimes get a delicious meal served for as little as 5 euros per person. Keep in mind that a 10% tip is always expected. This is an unscripted rule here in the Czech Republic.
Sluknov
The campsite is 100 meters from the bakery, half a kilometer from the supermarket Penny and within a kilometer there are two restaurants, a coffee shop, the train and bus station and the center of Sluknov. So all the basic amenities are close to the campsite.

Bastei
Bastei has been Saxon Switzerland's most popular tourist attraction for 200 years. The Bastei is a rock formation with a height of 305 meters. It is a bridge you can visit with several beautiful panoramas. At Bastei it is possible to take a short look but it is also possible to take a beautiful walk between the rostsen from Stadt Wehlen to Bastei.
Kyjov
Kyjov is a beautiful picturesque village where you can hike through the rugged nature and bike in the valley. Walking is also possible down in the valley along the babbling brooks and the beautiful rocks but also with steps up. This hiking or biking route is highly recommended. (20 by car)
Toboggan
A real family recommendation is Rodelbahn Oderwitz. Suitable for young and old. We know from experience that many families have a great time here and it is one of the most frequently visited outings from the campsite.
Dresden
The beauty of Dresden is undisputed - and undeniable! It reveals itself to visitors at first glance, shaped by the irresistible symbiosis of romantic landscape, Baroque architecture and one of the most beautiful historic old city ensembles in Germany. At second glance, "Florence on the Elbe" lures with a wealth of art and culture that is also unmatched internationally. Full of joie de vivre, the people of Dresden enjoy their city on streets and squares, on stages and with world-class artists and invite guests from all over the world to do the same.
Bautzen
What makes Bautzen so special is the location of the upper part of town on a granite plateau above the Spree River. The city is also called the city of many towers. We recommend when visiting Bautzen the city walk, the recreational lake, the largest maze in Europe "small welka", the GDR prison.
Hrensko
One of the twelve most extraordinary walks in Europe is the walk to the Pravčická brána, the largest natural stone bridge in Europe. The movie Narnia, among others, was also shot here.
Prague
The history of the Czech Republic is beautifully visible in the Czech capital of Prague. The historic part of the city is so well preserved that buildings and stylistic elements from many centuries can be seen in the streets. It is not for nothing that Prague attracts millions of tourists every year who come especially for the romance of the old town. Various nicknames are used to describe Prague's uniqueness, such as "The Golden City" and "City of a Hundred Towers." The fact is that Prague's beauty is undeniable and you must have seen Prague at least once in your lifetime.

There is also a recreational lake near the campsite in the Czech Republic, where you can sail. There is also a playground, table tennis table, beach volleyball court, soccer field and campfire area. At the sheep pasture near our family campsite in the Czech Republic, the children are allowed to feed the sheep every morning. And there is also free WiFi throughout the campsite. For the sports enthusiasts and nature lovers, the Bohemian Switzerland nature reserve is perfect for walking, cycling and mountain biking. A day out to the zoo, an adventure park, or a day in Prague or Dresden are also within easy reach. There is a lot to do in the vicinity of our campsite! That makes our campsite the ideal family campsite.

Getting a sandwich in the morning is easy with the bakery 50 meters away. Furthermore, the supermarket is 400 meters away and you can eat out at local restaurants for 5 to 10 euros per person.
