Vacancy Animation staff

Vacancy Hospitality staff

What do we expect from you?

• You speak English in addition to Dutch (and a little German would be nice)

Tasks:

The duties are diverse:

• Bar service including cash register
• Kitchen, washing up, snack bar, barbeque preparation
• Cleaning work such as taking down tables and doing the dishes etc.
• Keeping stock: keeping track of how much is left of everything on a stock list and passing on any orders.

What can you expect with us?

• Wage per hour : 18 years €7 euro, 19 years €7.70 20 years €10.20 21 years and older €11.00.

High Season: Receptionist

Period: July 19, 2024 to August 24, 2024

What do we expect from you?

• You are representative and hospitable
• You are enthusiastic and customer friendly
• You have good empathy and strong communication skills
• You are flexible and independent
• You can handle computer systems and have some administrative experience
• MBO level 4 or HAVO/VWO completed, at least 19 years. The requirement is that you are independent enough, hence the minimum age. You see the work that needs to be done and are solution oriented.
• You speak Dutch and English (A little German would be nice).

Tasks:

• Checking guests in/out
• Give advice on the area (we have an app for this where you can find everything)
• Administration and other reception work
• Sales of small items
• Washing, folding and preparing everything for the cleaners. You instruct the cleaners on when to clean which accommodation.

Working days Hours reception: Monday to Saturday 09.00 – 11.00 and 15.00 – 17-00 and 18.30 – 19.30 (5 hours). In addition, you will be available for phone calls and check-in outside reception hours.

A nice vacation at our campsite, but would you also like to be busy in exchange for a nice discount or a free vacation? Then we are looking for you / you! Namely, we are looking for a couple or family who likes to support us with the animation program.

Sunday:

• Help with service support: in setting up/dismantling, making coffee, children’s Bible school (depending on where help is needed) (9:30 – 12:00) (two people)
• Host Sunday afternoon hike (3:00 – 5:00 p.m.) (one person)
• Campfire nights on Sundays (under the sing inn) (7:30 – 8:30 p.m.) and Wednesday nights (7:00 – 9:00 p.m.) (one person)

Mondays:

• Bingo Monday evening (7 p.m. to 8 p.m.) (one person)

Tuesday afternoon/evening:

• Barbecue on Tuesday: purchasing, preparing, serving and cleaning up (1 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the latest) (two people)

Other work: green work, small repairs, snack bar and other such work in consultation.

Volunteers sought to support us when campground is open

From May 1 to September 15 we are looking for people who want to help us with all kinds of maintenance at the campsite. The work ranges from pruning, grass cutting, painting the log cabins, maintenance in the sanitary facilities or the grounds and a lot of other work. But we also have work like the big cleaning in the sanitary facilities, log cabins, entertainment center and so on. Your vacation will be free where you will help us for 4 days and have 3 days off.

The May vacation is always a fun week where we get together as a team and do the work together. In past years the work consisted of a team getting the safari tents ready for the season, this means cleaning the inventory and putting back all the inventory. Checking the inventory in all the log cabins. In addition, a team doing maintenance work on the playground, the playground is completely checked and painted. In addition, there are jobs such as making stairs at new safari tents, building a terrace or greenery work to be done at that time. We look at the qualities you have and discuss what suits you best.

Besides the work we drink coffee together, you have two days that you can go out by yourself and we enjoy a nice campfire together in the evening.

We open our 4 log cabins and our apartment but it is also possible to come with your own camping gear.

It is also always possible to help for a longer period of time or at another time in consultation.

High season: speakers/musicians for Sunday services/sing inn

Musicians

We are looking for people who would like to speak at the Sunday meetings or play a musical instrument.

We are looking for musicians for all sundays.

Speaker

We are looking for a speaker for the following dates:

• 14-07-2024 and 21-07-2024
• 18-08-2024 25-08-2024

Important points:

• The speaker should have experience speaking in front of mixed audiences. The site includes people of different denominations.
  A speaker will provide a service from beginning to end and choose the songs to arrive and coordinate with the music team (part Psalms/chants and part revival).
• Afternoon walk with the Sunday walk where the speaker gives a short reflection of max 15 minutes.
• Helps with the sing inn (present, lend a hand with preparations when needed)
• In exchange for speaking, we offer a free camping trip or in our catered rental tent.
• Creative on the campsite
