Spacious pitch at the Rainbow Campsite

It is important to us that you have the peace and quiet you need to enjoy your holiday to the full. That is why our pitches are at least 100m2. When booking, you can choose your own pitch. This can be a quiet pitch with few other campers around you or a pitch where you are more sociable with other campers. Not sure which spot to choose? Then we will be happy to advise you.

A clean sanitary building with lots of facilities

We have a large, clean and well-tended sanitary building. We make sure that the sanitary building is cleaned at least once a day. In the sanitary building there are 20 toilets with toilet paper. Including 2 disabled toilets. You can also use our hand soap and hand dryers after using the toilet.

We have 20 showers, two of which have a hand shower. The hand shower is a favourite with families with young children and older people.

We also have two washing machines, a dryer, dishwashing facilities and a chemical toilet (Only green biodegradable toilet fluid may be used)

Smaller children are also taken care of

The sanitary building also has a baby room for bathing and changing babies.
We have also thought of small children who find a large toilet difficult, as we have special children’s toilets. These toilets have a children’s toilet seat and a stool. We have covered the doors with animal stickers to make it even more fun for children to go to the toilet! We also noticed that since we have children’s toilets, the rest of the toilets stay cleaner.
Apart from this, we have stools in several places throughout the sanitary building so that even small children can easily reach the washing and dishwashing sinks.

Camping with the dog

Your dog is welcome on the camping pitches and in the various accommodations. The pitches are very spacious so your four-legged friend has all the space it needs. However, there are a few rules: dogs must be on a leash and/or behind sheep netting. A maximum of three dogs are allowed per pitch. If you want to camp with several dogs during the high season, please send us an e-mail about which spots we recommend.

Ideal for your four-legged friend is the forest behind the campsite and the lake next to the campsite for a refreshing dip. The Czech Republic is a dog-friendly country, dogs are allowed in almost every restaurant and often even get a bowl with water. In addition, you can take lovely walks and they allow dogs in the Gorlitz zoo. Dogs are allowed on public transport in the Czech Republic, although they must wear a muzzle. Of course, there are many other possibilities where dogs are allowed, such as the lake near Bautzen,

In Rumburk (6 km) there is a good vet who speaks very good German. In the same village is Ratio where you can buy bones and dog food.

Surprise

Just as many people have been surprised in recent years, we were also surprised in winter 2016.

After all, when you arrive at the campsite, you don’t see a campsite… Then, when you walk up the road from the reception, all at once a very spacious, green campsite emerges with kilometres of views over the woods and hills.

The pitches are extremely spacious so you can completely relax and enjoy nature and each other, but if you want to be more sociable, there is that possibility too. In summer, there is an animation team for young and old, joint bbqs, youth drops and a place for the youth to meet.

Next to the campsite is the village of Sluknov, where all basic needs are already within walking distance, such as the bakery, supermarket and restaurants. Walking and cycling are also possible from the campsite. If you like nature, you can take beautiful walks or cycle tours among the rocks of the rugged nature reserve of Bohemian Switzerland. If you need to visit more cities, Dresden, Bautzen or Prague are certainly worthwhile. Trains and buses are also already within walking distance.
